Academic mobility in college

Academic mobility is the transfer of a student or employee for a certain period of time to another educational or scientific institution (in their country or abroad) within the framework of a joint educational, research program, as well as on the basis of bilateral agreements.

Academic mobility is implemented at the college on the basis of existing agreements, agreements and memoranda with foreign educational institutions of the following countries: Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Estonia, Germany, China, Czech Republic, France.

There is also cooperation within the framework of academic mobility with 12 Kazakhstani colleges and universities in the following cities: Almaty, Taraz, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Uralsk, Aktobe, Kyzylorda.

 

 

Academic mobility programs

 

Technological practice of students in foreign educational institutions. In accordance with the terms of the Memorandum of Cooperation No. 6 with the Shanghai College of Publishing and Printing, the Shanghai College of Publishing and Printing has implemented and successfully operates a program of technological internships in the following specialties: 02110400 - Publishing, 02110100 - Operator Art, 02110500 - Printing and Packaging technology, 07151000 - Operation, maintenance and repair of printing equipment production equipment, 02110300 - Graphic and multimedia design. Students of 2-3 courses are accompanied by a college employee. Classes are conducted by the winners of the WorldSkills World Championship.

Foreign internship for college teachers. Internship is one of the main organizational forms of additional professional education for teachers and is carried out in order to form and consolidate subject competencies and their subsequent use in professional activities. The internship is aimed at consolidating the knowledge and skills acquired during training in an industrial environment, mastering the skills of solving socio-professional tasks and production technologies. The programs are built on a modular principle, which will allow the participants of the program to study modern production technologies in the field of printing and packaging production. According to the results of the training, participants should master the technologies of their implementation in the educational process to train competent specialists in the field of printing and packaging production.

Internal academic mobility of students is the movement of students to study during a certain academic period at another educational institution within the country/city in related specialties within the same module. Students have the opportunity to choose an individual educational trajectory and purchase better educational services.

According to the results of the academic mobility program, students are issued a certificate indicating the mastered academic disciplines and the number of academic credits. Academic mobility has a positive effect on the development of interpersonal communication skills and personal maturity. Students not only grow up during their stay at another college, but also acquire multicultural competencies.

Internship of college teachers at the basic enterprises of the industry. This is training directly at the workplace, gaining practical experience in a real production process. The key purpose of the internship, first of all, is to teach the technological cycle of printing production. The internship program also helps to maintain occupational safety standards in the direct performance of work duties. Such an internship involves completing a number of tasks in the current specialty. Its key goal is to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills. The internship program is compiled at the college in accordance with the individual learning trajectory, and the masters of industrial training are sent to existing printing houses with a ready-made algorithm of actions.

Invited specialists. Attracting leading specialists from production is one of the areas of work of the college for the training of highly qualified specialists. Since 2023, the college has been holding lectures for first-year students on the introduction to the specialty by social partners of the college, such as the National Branding Agency Kazakhstanika, LLP Visualization Technologies, LLP Easy PackPRO, LLP PRINT Store, LLP RPIK Dauir. During the lectures, students, teachers and masters of printing and packaging have the opportunity to get first-hand acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of printing and packaging production.
